My wife and I are products of Oklahoma’s public school system, as are our six children. I believe that local school boards, parents, teachers, and administrations have the best interests for our children at heart, and we must protect parents’ rights to ensure all kids can thrive. The federal government has no business creating education standards that impose a one-size-fits-all policy. Those decisions should be made by the state. It’s an honor to sit on the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pension (HELP) Committee to further the education interests of our state and expand education freedom.
