Restoring American energy independence is key to lower costs for working families, reduce dependence on foreign adversaries, and create global stabilization. Our nation must be energy independent to provide affordable, reliable energy to every American. Since being elected to Congress, I have fought for policies that preserve and grow Oklahoma’s energy jobs and assure our families can afford to keep their lights on.
We must strengthen our economy by modernizing infrastructure to keep pace with new resources, remove current barriers to energy production, and stand strong against adversaries who use energy access as leverage for harm. In turn, this will create new jobs and lower fuel prices.
In Oklahoma, we are blessed with abundant natural resources. From our vast farmland to important public waterways like McClellan–Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System (MKARNS), Oklahomans have proven to be good stewards of our environment. Through this, we have repeatedly seen how one-size-fits-all solutions from Washington do not work. I am proud to serve on the Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee, where I can give Oklahoma a voice in environmental matters concerning protection, resource utilization, and cultivation.
