Defense and National Security

Our nation is home to the greatest military in the world, and it’s vital that Washington provides them with the resources to keep it that way. We must continue to make investments in the most advanced equipment, infrastructure, and technology, but also in our men and women in uniform. I believe in peace through strength to deter adversaries like Communist China and protect the homeland. As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, I am committed to supporting Oklahoma’s five world-class military installations to ensure they have the resources they need to protect and defend our nation.
