Health Care

I favor market-based and patient-centered reforms that protect small businesses and their employees from interruptions to health insurance coverage and skyrocketing premiums. Opening a free market will encourage competing plans and options, allowing Oklahomans to return to a health care market that provides affordable and reliable health insurance access. 

I serve on the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee where our state will have a say in rural America’s unique health care needs as we work to secure a pathway to prosperity for all Oklahomans. I will continue to work specifically to reform Indian Health Care and secure affordable, reliable health care services to rural Americans and Indian Country.
